Sleep Aids that Have Helped Me

I’ve tried many-a-suppliment over the years to aid with sleep when needed. I’m not a doctor and this isn’t medical advice, I’m just sharing what’s worked for me personally, in case you are looking for some sleep aids.

This one is given at hospitals for those who need to fall asleep and calm down. 

  • My doc told me it's made to be safe enough to take everyday cuz people with allergies have to
  • I take it 30-60 mins before bed
  • Brings a nice drowsiness and helps me fall and stay asleep
  • You can skip this if you don't like it or don't want this.

I use this to help me STAY asleep

  • Controlled release, time release, Melatonin. 
  • I take it 30-60 minutes before bed. Helps me fall sleep and stay asleep - particularly STAY asleep.

Trader Joes Chewable Melatonin

I use this to help me FALL asleep.

  • Chewable, peppermint flavored
  • Melatonin 500mcg per ONE tablet
  • I chew one 10 minutes before bed. Helps me get that lovely drowsy.

Melatonin - ND Dietary Supplement Probiotic - Fermented Melatonin

This product came highly recommended from a health practitioner I saw. It's liquid melatonin and meant to be a much better formulation than other liquids. 

  • Try putting some drops on the back of your hand and rubbing it in. 
  • Helps you get calm, drowsy and fall asleep. I do this either 30-60 mins before bed, or 10 mins before, with the chewable. I find blending them together works well. Different absorption methods and styles. 
  • Helps you fall sleep, get calm, mellow at night. Can use melatonin instead of drinking alcohol. You can also put this one under the tongue.
